KSQstudio — Free PC Software for Your KSQ Constant Current Source

KSQstudio is Kirchner Galvanik's free PC software for the convenient control and monitoring of all KSQ12xx constant current sources. Using a simple serial RS232 connection – or, if needed, a standard USB-RS232 adapter – any KSQ unit can be operated directly from a PC, without additional hardware or license fees.

With the built-in current-plan designer, you can create individual current/time profiles with up to ten steps in just a few clicks, save an unlimited number of programs for recurring plating tasks, and start the desired sequence directly on the connected KSQ unit. A clear live chart displays both the target profile and the actually measured current and voltage values of all channels throughout the entire plating process, so you can reliably keep an eye on the process at all times.

KSQstudio automatically detects the connected device type and adapts the user interface accordingly: whether you are using a compact single-channel unit or a 4-channel KSQ, the software always shows exactly the relevant channels and the maximum current permitted for your device.

All recorded measurement data from a run can be exported at any time for documentation, traceability, and quality assurance. Firmware updates are just as straightforward: KSQstudio automatically checks in the background whether a newer firmware version is available for your device, downloads it if needed, and takes you straight into the built-in KSQ Updater.
